On Friday 31st January 2014 during a prestigious award ceremony held in a top hotel in central Prague, Milena was one of 8 persons  awarded the official title of "Czech Patriot 2013"which also included the current President of the Czech Republic. 

This is a great national honour for Milena and to all who are recognised and awarded this prestigious annual award and title.

Congratulations are surely due to Milena. Her dedicated work on behalf of her nations 20th century Czechoslovak military history has without doubt been recognised and I am so proud to share a part in her life.

The 3 images are as follows:

1. Milena receiving her award from the ANLET President.

2. Surviving Czech air crew members and pilots who made up the RAF (Czechoslovak) Wellington/Liberator bomber squadron & Hurricane/Spitfire fighter squadrons during WW2 and Czechoslovak Independent Armoured Brigade veterans were also included for award.

3. Czech Patriot 2013 winners alongside ANLET officials who are responsible for overseeing this particular award.
